Bring your favorite materials to paint or draw from a live model with one long pose.  Adults and teens of all skill levels are welcome to participate.  This is a time honored way to find your unique style.  No instruction is provided, however our moderator will be able to guide you if you get stuck. 

In this class, we aim to enjoy the process! Beginners through advanced levels are welcome. Linda will demonstrate the techniques and tools needed to create a winter-themed acrylic painting.

This course is developed for those who want to learn. Acorn to Oak Studios is a welcoming and comfortable studio. Classes are small, perfect for lots of individual attention and instruction. 

Upon registration, a list of suggested supplies will be sent. Of course, you are free to bring what you are comfortable using! If you are unsure, Linda will be happy to guide you.

The Antomy Lab for Artists series continues with Faces and Expressions.  Artists of all skill levels (teen and adult) are welcome.  Dr. Bury will discuss the anatomy and muscles of the face that change as our expressions change.  Even subtle movements reveal what someone feels and expresses.  Understanding this will allow your work to be more expressive and compelling.  Each independent session will cover different emotions and concepts.
