Unleash your creativity and explore the world of sculptural mask-making in this 4-week hands-on class using Jonni Good’s celebrated paper-mâché clay recipe and techniques! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced crafter, this course will guide you step-by-step through the process of designing, sculpting, and finishing your own expressive bird mask.
This four-week class begins on Monday, June 9th, and continues weekly on June 16th, 23rd, and 30th.
What You’ll Learn:
Project Focus: Bird Mask In this course, each student will create a unique bird-inspired mask. From sleek owls to playful parrots or mysterious crows, you’ll bring your avian vision to life. The mask will be wearable or display-ready, with exaggerated features like beaks, feather textures, and expressive eyes, all built with the versatile paper-mâché clay medium.
All materials provided. Just bring your imagination and clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy!

Summer Open Studio Experience – All Ages
Open Studio Hours: Mondays & Thursdays | 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Description: Turn off the computer and turn on your creativity. Our summer open studio experience allows artists of all ages to explore, create, and be inspired. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Choose an art activity that sparks your creativity, and create at your own pace. Explore the studio, contribute to collaborative murals, and check out our rotating pop-up workshops (available for an additional fee).
Different art media and techniques will be highlighted throughout the summer, giving you the chance to experiment and grow as an artist. Don’t miss the Tiny Art Show Corner, where your creations can shine in our end-of-summer community showcase!
