Looking to try improv?  Whether you're brand new to improv or have some experience, this is a fun and welcoming space to get creative. Join us for a FREE Open Improv Playdate for teens (ages 13-17) on Thursday, February 20th at Acorn to Oak Studios!

We'll be playing a variety of improv games—some you may recognize from shows like "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" and others that might be completely new to you! Come laugh, explore, and step out of your comfort zone.

This exciting session will be led by Adam Woodworth, Santa Portrayal Artist, member of Main Stage Improv, and Executive Director of the Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn.

Adam Woodworth has performed with Quarried Away of the Limestone Stage Theatre since 2016. In 2019, Adam become a professional Santa Claus, founding North Pole Santa LLC, using his improv skills during November and December entertaining thousands of children and their families. In 2022, Adam was brought on by Alissa Janchenko to do improv training for organizations and businesses focused on interpersonal relationships and customer service. This last fall, Adam joined the cast of Main Stage Improv out of Tinley Park. In addition to his improv background, Adam is the Executive Director of the Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn. Adam has done both print modeling and commercial work as Santa.
