Step into a world of creativity, curiosity, and invention inspired by Leonardo da Vinci. This unique Acorn to Oak Studios summer program blends art and hands-on building, inviting students in grades K–8 to think like artists and create like innovators.

Through sketching, designing, and experimenting, students will explore ideas such as flight, movement, and structure—bringing their own inventions to life along the way. Each session is thoughtfully designed to meet students where they are, encouraging creativity for younger learners and deeper problem-solving for older students.

The experience culminates in a special Innovation Expo, where students proudly showcase their work to family and community.

Hone your figurative drawing skills with several poses by a professional figurative model. We will begin with shorter gestural poses and increase the duration, finishing with one longer pose. Bring your favorite materials to quickly draw or paint a variety of poses. Adults of all skill levels are welcome.

Build a strong foundation in drawing, focusing on essential rendering techniques. This class explores black-and-white drawing using a variety of media, helping you develop skills in shading, value, texture, and form.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your abilities, all skill levels are welcome. Beginners especially encouraged—no experience needed! (And if drawing a straight line feels tricky, don’t worry—we’ve got tools for that!)

Join us for a fun and relaxed Paint Night as we create a vibrant Summer Sunset painting! Featuring a glowing sunset sky, peaceful shoreline, and warm summer colors, this project is perfect for artists of all skill levels.

Our instructor will guide you step-by-step through the entire painting process, making it easy and enjoyable whether you're picking up a paintbrush for the first time or have painted before. You'll learn simple techniques for blending colors, creating depth, and capturing the beauty of a summer evening.

Bring a friend, enjoy a creative night out, and leave with a beautiful piece of artwork to display at home.

All materials are provided—just bring yourself (and maybe a friend!) for a night of art, laughter, and creativity.
